The Varsa, NIla 50 and Zaila can all run on standard camera batteries. This adapter allows you to use any Gold Mount style of battery to power your Nila fixtures. It also has a key for hanging it from a Nila yoke.
We make no claims about how much time you will get on your particular batteries. Every battery is different and AB batteries are especially finicky due to the electronics involved. We offer the following as guidelines based on our tests. This is probably NOT what you can expect from your exact cells.
- Varsa daylight will run on one Dionic 90 AB battery for around one hour at 100%.
- Zaila daylight will run on a new AB 160 battery for around five hours at 100%.
